the Hostel Managers Meeting in Munich

This is a great moment for us to announce that the intention of IFWA since 1986 to bring hostel managers together in a friendly familiar network has been totally adapted by IYHF. And not only; hopefully the outcome of this new concept will spread more energy and life into our network and develop an even better and broader platform for hostel managers to meet the future.

IFWA will firmly stand by IYHF to keep our hostelling spirit empowered and strong. The future is unknown to us but for sure it will be tough! Computers and internet has changed the world in all sorts of different ways. It has brought the competition closer and the budget accommodation market is for ever changed.

A strong brand will be of great benefit to all HI Hostels. Actually it may mean everything! This is one reason IFWA is delighted with the solution of the Hostel Managers Meeting arranged by IYHF, and we sincerely hope it will be well participated.

All hostel managers are invited and may come. Past ifwa conferences has without exceptions been successful and a great joy for the participants. To experience the power of the network is a sheer thrill!
